01Challenge

What we were asked to solve.

The client's stock-keeping was on a four-tab spreadsheet that only one person could safely edit. Colour and shade variants weren't first-class, so the same fabric existed in five rows with five different spellings — and the team kept selling stock they didn't have.

02Approach

How the studio took it on.

We modelled colour and shade as their own entities, normalised the catalogue, and built an order form designed for thumb-typing on a phone. Suppliers and lots got first-class records too. Everything runs in Docker on the client's existing infra with daily Postgres dumps to off-site storage.

03Outcome

What shipped, and what changed.

Live for over a year. The team enters orders from the floor; the office sees stock movements without anyone having to ask.
