01Challenge
What we were asked to solve.
Off-the-shelf WhatsApp marketing tools either go through unofficial APIs that get banned or charge per-message rates that don't scale for Indian SMBs running 10k+ daily sends. Existing self-hosted options had no scheduling, no segmentation, and no observability.
02Approach
How the studio took it on.
Built around the WAHA gateway with a Node.js orchestrator that fans out campaigns across multiple worker processes managed by PM2. Each worker maintains its own rate limiter and session, with delivery callbacks routed back through a queue. Campaigns can be paused mid-flight without losing state.
03Outcome
What shipped, and what changed.
Running in production for multiple clients. Sustained throughput of tens of thousands of messages per day per workspace with per-recipient delivery tracking.
